John Tregambe joined Push Retail Australia Pty Ltd in January 2011 to establish Push Safety where, with Push Retail’s design and project rollout specialists, risk mitigation strategies are designed into retail environments and then rolled out quickly and cost-effectively across multiple sites.

John is a leader in his field with over 11 years experience in Occupational Health and Safety learning, design and implementation - and more-recently in designing and implementing safety systems. In the past five years, his focus has been on improving safety performance for many companies through human engagement and practical safety design.

In 2007, his leadership enabled BP to significantly improve the core health and safety skills level of over 5000 staff, managers and contractors across 3 countries over two years.

John holds a Masters Degree in Educational Policy and has received various awards for innovative learning and people engagement solutions including:

• 2009 national finalist e-learning awards - Australian Institute of Training and Development for BP 3D Risk Management course
• 2006 national finalist for Outstanding Corporate Leader - Department of Employment and Workplace Relations
• 2006 BP Australasian Award for innovation Many Faces – One BP (in relation to Indigenous employment and training)
• 2004 BP Australasian Award for Innovation
• Site Training Systems – Overcoming the Tyranny of Distance (in relation to establishing global best practice training systems)
